35 Years of Live Oak International:
Celebrating a Legacy of World-Class Sport in Ocala
Following record-breaking crowds in 2025, the nation’s premier celebration of equestrian excellence takes place at Live Oak Stud from March 12th to 15th, 2026.
Ocala, FL. October 17, 2025 – What began as a combined driving event 35 years ago has evolved into one of America’s most celebrated equestrian traditions. Today, Live Oak International (LOI) stands as the only tournament in the United States to showcase both international combined driving and show jumping competition on the same stage.
Led by Co-Presidents Chester C. Weber and Chloe D. Reid, the 2026 edition of Live Oak International returns to the heart of Marion County, Florida, from March 12–15, 2026, at the breathtaking Live Oak Stud.
“For the past 35 years, our family has been proud to welcome the world’s best equestrian athletes to participate in this uniquely horse-friendly tournament, founded upon the pillars of horsemanship and sportsmanship,” shared Co-President Chloe D. Reid.

A top-level show jumping competitor herself, Reid joined the family tradition as an organizer in 2012, championing the addition of international show jumping to the program. Since then, LOI has gained global recognition across equestrian disciplines, hosting some of the sport’s most exciting show jumping classes.
“LOI has become an annual highlight on the competition calendar in Ocala, and we are honored to host our neighbors, friends, family, and spectators among the majestic live oak trees,” said Chester C. Weber, Co-President and America’s most decorated combined driving athlete.

Born and raised in Ocala, Weber is a passionate advocate for the preservation of horse farms and agricultural land.
“Visitors may not realize that 50 out of 52 weeks in a year, Live Oak Stud is active farmland—Live Oak is home to 400 head of cattle, making the tournament grounds an incredibly sustainable venue,” Weber explained.
2026 Highlights
- Combined Driving Marathon – A perennial favorite, the thrilling marathon phase takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, with seven challenging hazards. Spectators are invited to reserve tailgating spots for the best views of the action. LOI is proud to once again host the USEF Combined Driving National Championship for Four-in-Hand Horses.
- Show Jumping Grand Prix – On Sunday, March 15, 2026, the CSI4* $200,000 Live Oak International Grand Prix will once again headline the show jumping schedule. Earlier in the week, the CSI1* division will feature a total of $15,000 in prize money, including the $5,000 Welcome and the $10,000 Grand Prix, giving rising stars the chance to compete on a world-class stage.
- One of LOI’s most unique assets is its state-of-the-art grass arena, seeded on top of a sand-fiber base. This traditional grass field offers a rare and exceptional experience for horses and riders—a feature increasingly scarce across North America.
Chloe D. Reid Leads Sponsorship at LOI
As Live Oak International celebrates its 35th year, Co-President Chloe D. Reid is taking an even more hands-on role in shaping the tournament’s future by stepping in to lead Sponsorship Strategy and Partnerships.
Reid grew up immersed in the event’s family tradition, learning from her mother, Juliet W. Reid, who helped elevate LOI into one of North America’s premier equestrian showcases. She also credits Ainsley Hayes, who has guided LOI’s sponsorship program for the past 14 years, with providing a blueprint for cultivating long-standing, mutually beneficial relationships. Working closely with her uncle, Chester C. Weber, Reid is passionate about investing in the growth of both Marion County as well as horse sport in the US.
An accomplished international show-jumping competitor, Reid brings the unique perspective of an athlete who also serves as a tournament organizer. Her dual role allows her to align sponsor activations with the authentic needs of competitors and spectators alike, ensuring that every partnership enhances the experience for athletes, fans, and the broader equestrian community.
The 35th edition of Live Oak International promises an unforgettable celebration of equestrian sport and community. Tickets and VIP tables will be available soon, with sponsorship opportunities and volunteer sign-ups now open.
